A young bear with a hat who migrates from the jungles of Peru to the streets of London, Paddington is a live-action animated comedy film with Nick Urata composing the film’s soundtrack. Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams were commissioned to write “Shine” for the film’s American release. The film grossed $268 million worldwide and was nominated for multiple awards. The film called for a wide range of musical cues to explain Paddington’s emotions and due to its global success, was followed by a sequel.
Paddington 2 is a live action animated comedy film with Paul King returning as the director and award winning actor, Ben Whishaw reprising his role as the voice of Paddington. The music of the film was composed by Dario Marianelli who was previously nominated for Pride & Prejudice,Anna Karenina and won an AcademyAward for Original Music Score for Atonement. Paddington 2 is heartwarming family fare and a purely enjoyable all-ages adventure that proved very popular with audiences and gained critical and commercial success worldwide. The movie became the most well reviewed film online and won threeAcademy nominations.
