With more than 40 million sold in all over the world, Sylvie Vartan is a real milestone of the French music.
She started her career in France at the beginning of Sixties like a “yé-yé twister”, beating all the records in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Her popularity goes even out of the francophone Countries, reaching suddenly Italy, Spain, Balkan Countries and Eastern Europe and Asia, also thanks her wedding with the megastar Johnny Hallyday, recently dead.
She starts to collaborate with the most important names of the French music, such as Charles Aznavour, Serge Gainsbourg and Johnny Hallyday.
After the end of her wedding with Hallyday, she married with the Italo/American Tony Scotti, conquering the United States, where she regularly performs in triumphal shows.
Since the half of Sixties she is also engaged like TV hosts in popular TV shows all over Europe, especially in Italy where her songs “Zum Zum Zum” and “Come un ragazzo” (Comme un garcon) are still nowadays real hits.
She performed in two sold out shows at the prestigious Olympia in Paris, presenting her new big show, “FOREVER SYLVIE”: three hours of show with which she tells all her history since the beginning of her debuts until now, with the support of original videos and lot of special effects. Twist, rock’n’roll, country, pop music, blues and all her evergreen hits. 12 musicians on stage with Sylvie: her historical band + 3 amazing backing vocalists.
