Celebrating over 35 years in the music business Leee John is best known as lead vocalist for 80s soul funk group – Imagination, who sold millions of records all around the world with big timeless classic hits like “Body Talk”, “Just an illusion” “Flashback” and many more.
More recently and showing his continuous diversity across multi genres from the pop stream well as his more classic presentation in the jazz world, none better reflect this than with the release of his last critically acclaimed solo album “Feel My Soul”. Recorded in 2005 in Rochfort, France became a International critical success, great reviews and sell out shows all over the continent, which led to the ‘Leee John Jazz Quartet live at the New Morning in Paris’ jazz CD/DVD. A blend of organic, eclectic harmonic soul and jazz fusions make up the Leee John vocal style and together with his quartet create the ultimate musical jazz evolution.
